Supplies:
4mm circular needle (or DPNs)
Sport or worsted weight, 50 g at least of each-
1 main color of your choice (example is sparkly purple “double knitting” acrylic from poundland)
1 contrasting color, preferably a green (example is poundland double knitting acrylic,mint)
1 black (example is sparkly black acrylic from poundland- yarn was 3 balls for £2)
Will also need a yarn needle for sewing in ends.
In main color (MC), cast on 100(110,120) stitches. Join to knit in the round, being careful not to twist.
For 5(7,9) rows: in MC,(k2,p1) to end; k1.
Begin chart A, in stockinette.
For 5 rows, knit MC.
Begin chart B, in stockinette.
For 5 rows, knit MC.
Begin chart C, in stockinette.
For 5 rows, knit MC.
Begin chart D, in stockinette.
For 5 rows,knit MC.
Decreasing to top
k3 st in MC, k2tog in CC; repeat to end of row.
K3 st in MC, k1 in CC; repeat to end of row.
k2 st in MC, k2tog in CC; repeat to end of row.
k2 st in MC, k1 in CC; repeat to end of row.
k1 st in MC, k2tog in CC; repeat to end of row.
K1 st in MC, k1 in CC; repeat to end of row.
k2tog in MC; k2tog in CC; repeat to end of row.
k1 in MC; k1 in CC; repeat to end.
k2tog MC; k2tog CC; repeat to end.
k in CC for one row.
Cut thread with enough tail to put remaining stitches through for bind off.
Sew in ends.
